Every year, HNMUN partners with a charity or foundation, aiming to provide concrete assistance to a wide variety of geographical areas and humanitarian issues. HNMUN 2017's charity partner was End7:
End7, an international advocacy campaign of the Sabin Vaccine Institute, works to raise the awareness and funding necessary to control and eliminate the seven more common neglected tropic diseases (NTDs). NTDs are a group of parasitic and bacterial diseases that keep kids out of school and prevent parents from working, trapping families in poverty. Without treatment, they can lead to lifelong disabilities and suffering. The seven most common NTDs infect over one billion people, but it costs just 50 cents to treat and protect one person from seven NTDs for a whole year. 100% of donations to END7 support NTD treatment and prevention programs in Africa, Asia, and Latin America.
