Join the Team: Model UN Conferences at Harvard
The Harvard International Relations Council organizes and runs two annual model UN conferences in Boston. More information on the similarities and differences can be found below, and we greatly encourage you to apply for positions at both HNMUN and HMUN 2018. Only Harvard College undergraduate students are eligible for these positions.

Known as "the high school conference," Harvard Model United Nations offers Harvard College students the opportunity to grow, learn, and have fun by organizing a model UN conference for 3,200 of the brightest high-school students in the world.
The sixty-fifth session of HMUN will be held at the Sheraton Boston Hotel and the Marriott Copley Place in late January 2018. Students and faculty from high schools in over 40 countries will come together to experience first-hand the challenges of international negotiation. Our team—the largest student-run group at Harvard—has positions ranging from business to helping run our committees. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out!

Known as "the college conference," HNMUN offers Harvard College students the opportunity to organize a social, informative, and educational event for 3,000 of the world's leading college students.
The sixty-fourth session of HNMUN will be held at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel in mid-February 2018 over President's Day Weekend. Students from universities in over 80 countries worldwide participate in the conference, making it the largest and most international conference of its kind. Joining the HNMUN family offers a wealth of experiences and opportunities ranging from researching international relations matters to supporting the logistical framework of conference operations.
