HNMUN - Latin America

In 2012, HNMUN-LA held its first session in Buenos Aires, Argentina, bringing HNMUN's well-established model abroad and adding educational and social initiatives in order to give delegates a distinctly Latin American experience. HNMUN-LA brought its second session to Brasilia, Brazil in 2013.  In 2014, HNMUN-LA held its third session in Natal, Brazil. In 2015, HNMUN-LA took its fourth sessions to Lima, Peru. In 2016, HNMUN-LA was organized in Mexico City, Mexico. The sixth, seventh, and eighth sessions, from 2017 to 2019, were held in Lima, Peru. In 2020, the ninth session was held in Puebla, Mexico. Then, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the tenth session was held virtually for the year 2021. For the last two years, the eleventh and twelfth sessions were held in Panama City, Panama. For this year’s conference, HNMUN-LA 2024 will be returning to Panama City, Panama! Learn more about HNMUN-LA at https://www.hnmunla.org/

HNMUN - Africa

After successful conferences in Boston for over 70 years, Harvard has welcomed delegates from around the world at HMUN China, HMUN India, HMUN Dubai, HMUN Australia, and HNMUN Latin America. Now, it’s time for Africa to take the spotlight! HNMUN Africa will be the first conference of its kind from Ivy League universities on the African continent, and our hope is to build bridges for our incredibly accomplished and ambitious students, from Senegal to Somalia and Egypt to South Africa. The inaugural edition of HNMUN Africa scheduled for March 2024 will engage over 800 young people from hundreds of schools across the African continent and the world. The HNMUN Africa team strives to foster community among students who seek our academic challenges; students who care deeply about the issues faced in Africa and in our world; and students who are driven to make an impact with the resources, networks, and communities around them.
