Position Paper Requirements

Please review the guidelines below carefully to determine whether a position paper is required to be eligible for awards. All position papers must be two pages with 1.5 spacing and 1 inch margins.

The use of AI in any form is strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification from award consideration.

All position papers must be submitted by February 12th at 12:00 PM.

Committees That Require Position Papers

Delegates in the following committees must submit a position paper in order to be considered for an award:

• All General Assemblies:

  • DISEC

  • ECOFIN

  • WHO

  • Interpol

  • Legal

  • SOCHUM

  • Special Summit on Technology

• Select ECOSOC & Specialized Bodies:

  • Spanish Bilingual Committee

  • Commission on Narcotic Drugs

  • UNESCO

Committees That Do not Require Position Papers

All other ECOSOCs and Crisis committees will not require a position paper for awards contention. All ADHOCs will not require a position paper as well.
